Safety is critical to our success. A.L. Helmcamp, Inc. leads the pack in safety. We have several full time employees, including a safety director and a safety trainer, dedicated to the task of keeping our employees informed and our jobsites safe. All employees must complete a New Employee Safety Orientation. Standard PPE is provided to the employees. Helmcamp superintendents are trained in first aid, CPR, and blood born pathogens.

Every A.L. Helmcamp, Inc. crew completes a weekly toolbox meeting and daily a Job Safety Assessment (JSA). Biannual supervisor safety meetings help keep safety on the forefront of all personnel. Our Safety Coordinators perform frequent job site inspections to insure that policies and programs are being utilized in the field and to identify areas that need additional attention and training.
